Manufacturing

After properly cured, the tobacco leaves are placed in large wooden vats where additional flavorings and sweeteners are mixed in. Once everything is mixed together, the vats are sealed and allowed to ferment for up to 2 years. This fermentation process allows for the tobacco to mellow a bit and allow the flavors to fully penetrate into the tobacco. After the fermentation process is complete, the tobacco is then taken to the cutting room and made into either Fine Cut or Long Cut Husky. So, now you know what Husky is, a bit about the history of smokeless tobacco and now we’ll take a look at the proper way to use it!
